Abstract:
The article presents a review of a special issue of the journal “Vestnik of Kostroma State University,” published in the fall of 2023 and dedicated to A. N. Ostrovsky’s anniversary. The review covers the concept and preparation of the issue, the difficulties of the editorial board and the implementation of the idea of publishing the anniversary issue. The high scholarly level of the published articles ensures the academic significance of the issue, taking into account the overall high level of the journal and the elaborated style of the publication. The work provides a brief description of most of the articles. The reviewer emphasizes the role of investors who made it possible to publish the issue and the dedicated work of the journal’s executive secretary, T. V. Osipenko, in collecting and organizing the publication of the special issue.
