Abstract: The article provides an overview of the collaboration between the Church historian and theologian, corresponding member of Imperial Academy of Sciences N. N. Glubokovsky (1863‒1937) with Russian periodicals of the 1880‒1890s —dailynewspapers “Moskovskie Vedomosti,” “Russkoe Delo,” “Russkoe Slovo.” Based on the registration records of N. N. Glubokovsky’s autobibliography attributes his newspaper publications, published under pseudonyms, various initials, or without a signature at all. From the point of view of the journalistic experience of the Glubokovsky brothers, the Project of a newspaper for the clergy proposed by them is considered. For the first time, such archival documents are being introduced into scientific circulation as letters with memories of his older brother — publisher, journalist, and founder of the journal “Science and Life” Matvey Glubokovsky (1857‒1903), a project for publishing a daily uncensored newspaper for clergy with the participation of university professors and theological academies, draft of the Project — autograph of M. N. Glubokovsky with notes by N. N. Glubokovsky and lithographed manuscript.
